8 Miles in Pacific Palisades

I did an 8 mile jog around Pacific Palisades in 1:46:27.  I’m bummed because I can’t post my stats from my Garmin.  They magically disappeared sometime from California to Washington.  I don’t know what happened, it’s never happened before.   Luckily, I took a picture of my watch with my phone yesterday when I finished with my jog.

I jogged through 2 neighborhoods I’ve never seen before.  The remarkable thing is… I didn’t get lost!  Both neighborhoods had beautiful houses that kept my interest, making 8 miles sail by in a timely fashion.  I would have liked to take pictures, but I didn’t want Pacific Palisades Security called on me, so I thought it best not to. 

After finishing my run, Sarah showed me where the famous Santa Monica Stairs are.  I have wanted to ask her about this attraction for months, but always forgot.  I had no idea they were located in Pacific Palisades.  I jogged very close to them on my second 4 miles of my run.  Arrggg.  Next time I’m at Sarah’s, I want to do these stairs.
