10 miles!
Hurray!!! I am thrilled to find I can walk 10 miles, at a slow pace, without much discomfort. I’m tired but, not too tired. I took numerous breaks, including lunch, so most of the day is gone. It took me 3 and a half hours to complete my mileage.
Today’s walk on the treadmill consisted of watching 2 inspirational marathon documentaries. The first one was called The Spirit of the Marathon. It tells the story of professional and amatuer runners completing the Chicago Marathon. Walk to Me is the second one. This documentary is about a group of women walking the Portland Marathon.
