I am now at Chica and Sunsets Hostel. Every hostel should be like this one. It is the gold standard of hiker hostels. I feel very lucky to have been able to secure reservations. They seem to be a hot commodity on the Appalachian Trail. Everything is easy at this hostel. Transportation to town, laundry, and the comfort of a relaxing quiet environment. 

I did lunch, resupply, and then perused most of the shops in downtown Franklin.
