3/4cup half and half | |
3/4cup whole milk | |
3cups sugar | |
1/8 tsp salt | |
1tsp vanilla | |
1tbsp butter | |
1tbsp nuts |
Directions
1.
Mix half and half together with the whole milk. Use this milk mixture where milk is required for the rest of the recipe.
Mark as complete
2.
Brown small amount of sugar in bottom of heavy pan. Remove from heat and pour on ½ cup milk mixture. Stir until dissolved.
Mark as complete

Add 3 cup sugar, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 cup milk mixture. Boil to soft ball stage.
Mark as complete
4.
Remove from heat. Add 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 tbsp. butter and nuts.
Mark as complete
5.
Stir until it starts to lose its shine. Quickly turn into buttered pan.
