Walking

I walked 10,599 steps today.  94 minutes.  After not walking most of the month of July, this is an accomplishment.

I’m going to walk the Seattle Marathon on November 28th.  I start the marathon training in August.  I walked the Seattle Rock-n-Roll 1/2 Marathon in June so I have a good base mileage.   Tomorrow morning I am going to walk 8 miles.  This is going to be a mental challenge for me.  I got so used to walking with Sue and Tracy, I don’t care for walking alone.  Books on tape are fun to listen to and I know I’ll enjoy the feeling of accomplishment when I’m finished.
