Stump Deer and an 8 mile walk

Today I walked with Nan on the Centennial Trail for 8 miles.  I was very irritate at myself for forgetting the camera.  On our adventure we saw a red-headed woodpecker, Woody, doing a good job of getting bark off a dead tree.  We also saw 2 deer cross the path in front of us.  They were walking around crunching twigs to our delight.  Finally we encountered a stump deer and a stump picnic table.  A good day on the Centennial Trail!
