Hummingbird!

One month ago we purchased a hummingbird feeder at Wildbirds Unlimited.  I have been faithfully changing the sugar water also known as hummingbird nectar every two days.  We would occasionally see a hummingbird in the backyard but it wouldn’t go near the feeder.  A few weeks ago I saw a hummingbird fly close to the feeder but didn’t stop to investigate.  I thought maybe our yard only attracted the learning impaired hummingbirds.  Last night as we ate dinner on the deck we saw a hummingbird flitting back and forth everywhere but the feeder.  This afternoon our bird finally understood what the feeder was for.  It is a red letter day!  🙂
