Sailing with Mark

Mark and I went on a wonderful sail yesterday.  We hoped to see marine mammals again but saw one harbor seal hanging around the marina.  Instead of the hoped for whales, seals, porpoises, and sea lions we were rewarded with white caps in the surf and 11 mph winds.  The Jeanne Marie did some serious heeling and we glided far and fast.  We sailed down to Mukilteo and tacked back and forth waiting for a good picture of the ferries.  The last picture is a Hunter sailboat that cruised very close to us.  He yelled that he just bought the boat and it was his first sail.  Very nice boat!  All in all, it was a fabulous trip spending quality time together.
