New Pope is Elected

Argentina’s Jorge Mario Bergoglio was elected the new pope today. 

I jogged 3 miles on the treadmill today while history unfolded in front of my eyes on the television.  Pope Francis I greeted the crowd in St Peter’s Basilica.  He spoke the familiar Catholic prayers and I remembered not close my eyes as I prayed along with everyone else.  The last time I closed my eyes on the treadmill I received an unsightly bruise on my arm that took weeks to disappear.  This jog took me 44 minutes so I jogged very slow.
