8 Miles

Today’s mileage made me feel like a runner. 
 
Miles 1 – 4
The first 4 miles were accomplished using jog 3 minutes, walk 1 minute intervals.  I’m not sure of the exact time.  It was under an hour but my GPS watch isn’t working.  I need to reread the owner’s manual.  I’m sure it’s user error! 

Miles 4 – 8
Since I was feeling good I decided to forgo the intervals and just let my body guide me so I didn’t pay attention to the beeping on the Gymboss interval watch.  These miles were jogged with only 3 walk breaks.  One of them was longer than a minute because I was taking pictures.  My second 4 mile jog time was exactly 52 minutes, corresponding to 13 minute miles.  The flowering cherry trees on 64th are starting to bloom so the next few weeks should result in some gorgeous pictures.

 
 
7:20      Water and Diet Coke
7:30      Breakfast – 3/4 of Bagel w/ Turkey, Cheese
9:15      Shortly Before Jog – Shot Blok/sip of Diet Coke/Water
 
10:23    After 4 Miles – 3 Shot Bloks/Water
