My New Adventures
Hi there!
Yesterday I walked 3.5 miles. Today’s mileage was 3.0 miles. Recently, I have watched a couple of my marathon movies and it has piqued my interest in doing another marathon.
First things first. Right now I want to have another walking endurance birthday month. When I turned 50 I walked 10 miles a day for the entire month of March. I would like to do the same thing again for the 2017 March. I will turn 55 on March 17th. I’m not sure I will be able to but I want to try.
If I can walk 8 miles a day by the end of February I will formally announce it on Facebook. By then I hope to start to feel fit again. Right now, not so much.
The first step is to increase my mileage and fitness dramatically. My inspiration is the quote by the Chinese philosopher Lao. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
