Mile 44.7 to Blue Mountain Shelter

It was a tough climb over more rocks today. Rocks are brutal, but great training for the rocks of Pennsylvania (Rocksylvania). The rest of the day consisted of gradual climbs and descents.
There are 7 people in the shelter tonight. I hope the mice stay away. I don’t want to meet mice in the middle of the night, or even during the day.

February 24, 2022Love the pictures and you telling us about the trip. I'm glad you are being careful on the slippery rocks and leaves ad going your own safe pace. I would like to just drive along the trail and visit all the little towns along the way. I think your shelters and towns are an interesting trip. You an inspiration to all of us Jeannie.
