It was a short, but challenging day. It rained all night and into the morning. I started a bit later than usual. There were more rocks today and they were slippery due to the rain. 

I am staying at a hotel today and tomorrow in Helen Georgia. Helen is a charming German themed town, much like Leavenworth Washington. It was wonderful to take a shower and do laundry. The simple pleasures of life. I had dinner with Barbora and Tom. They are one day ahead of me and do longer miles.
