Another Sailing Adventure with Liam

Last night we had another sailing adventure with Liam.  We sailed after dinner to cool off from the heat.  Liam is a good dog, but quite the leaner.  He is constantly leaning on our legs.  Part of it, I’m sure, is insecurity being around water.  If our sailboat cockpit was bigger, it wouldn’t be such a problem. 

This week, for the first time, we are using the running lights.  We discovered the markers have beacon lights on them.  We’ve never sailed late enough to see the lights.  It’s fun to be one of the last boats into the marina at dusk.  A very calm experience.  Our captain (Mark) is doing an excellent job of docking the boat.  A relaxing cruise…
