Sailing

Today we sailed with Joe, Dana, and Kathy.  It was a chilly sail, temperature in the mid-50’s.  The company was wonderful.  Quite a bit of wind today so some nice heeling.  There were even a few whitecaps on the waves. Harvey and all his cousins were out in full force on the green and yellow bouys.  They even barked at us as we sailed by at a respectful distance.  We sailed for about two and a half hours.  Unfortunately, Kathy’s seasickness medicine didn’t seem to work as she expected so she was seasick for a bit.  Luckily she felt better by the end of the trip so was back to her usual self.  After we docked and secured the boat we went out to eat at Lombardi’s, an Italian restaurant close to the marina.  Had a nice early dinner and made plans to have everyone over for Thanksgiving.
