Back in Marysville

I’ve been back in Marysville for a week now.  I had to come back because I got sick and couldn’t expose Sarah to any germs.  I’m still trying to shake this cough I have.  Luckily, no one else seems to have gotten sick from me.

Today is Sarah’s first day of Chemotherapy.  I talked to her a few times on the phone.  I wish I could have been there in person to support her today.  Sarah said the A, B, and V drugs were okay but the D drug really burned going into her veins.  My poor baby bear.  I wish I could do something to make it better.

Sue, Becky, and I got together today to go fabric shopping for chemo cap fabric.  I found a navy blue knit rayon fabric.  We spent the afternoon making a pattern from a purchased cap and then sewing it back together.  Becky is going to come over again and help me make a couple more caps out of the new fabric.

This morning was my first run in two weeks.  I ran 1.37 miles.
