Last Run Before Marathon and Chickens

I saw chickens again!  Last spring I spied these chickens in the same spot as today and I haven’t seen or heard from them since.  I didn’t know if they were still laying eggs or ended up as part of a chicken noodle soup!  Now to be fair to the chickens, I usually am wearing my headphones listening to tunes as I jog by so they could be clucking away and I might have missed it.

Also out in force today were Christmas trees being carried home on top of cars and one reindeer costumed car.  A nose for the grill and antlers for the windows!  It was an entertaining 3 mile jog completed in 38:40.1 minutes.  Unfortunately, my IT Band hurt throughout the jog.  It’s worrisome for Sunday.  On the other hand, I’m very excited for the marathon to finally be within my reach.
