I have hiked 100 miles!
I got another early start today, 7am. I’m really liking my early starts. A hiker named Anthony and I hiked together for a few hours. We both were worried about getting lost doing the blue blazed bypass around Albert Mountain fire tower. The bypass route still counts as the Appalachian Trail! I was very happy to have company and the few hours passed quickly. We hiked fast and after I was on my own again, my knee started to act up again.
I’m in a shelter tonight with an interesting cast of characters.

March 10, 2022Love the 100 with the sticks! And to think I get tired walking my students up the stairs to take them to tech and spanish class and then down for gym.
