Stecoah Gap – A Cabin in the Woods

I spent a very relaxing day doing nothing. This hostel is in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for a day off hiking. I listened to the TV for background noise. Spent the day updating my blog and talking to Mark on the phone. I don’t have phone reception very often so this was a treat.

I ate food out of my bear canister and got ready for slack packing on Saturday. 

Printed out my Smokey Mountain National Park thru hiking permit.
