8 Mile Marathon Training Run

Literally soaked to the skin!

Wow, this one was a doozy.  I got soaked in the first 4 miles.  The rain never let up for a second.  It was dandy training for the Seattle Marathon.  I had knee pain starting on mile 3 but I was able to jog through it without much trouble.

After taking a break, drying off, changing clothes, eating lunch, I got on the treadmill to finish the rest of my mileage.  My knee pain immediately started and it was intense.  I tried jogging short spurts and ended up walking slowly the rest of my 4 miles.  I figured getting the 8 miles in jogged or walked was better than not getting doing it.

The first 4 miles took 46:04 minutes.  The second 4 miles took 70 minutes.
